You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working closely with office management and site personnel to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands‑on administrative role with variety.

Your new role

In this role, you will assist with facilitating the daily running of the Townsville office, warehouse, job sites, and housing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact, meeting and greeting clients, employees, and site visitors
  • Providing administrative support to office managers, site managers, and team members
  • Handling correspondence including emails and phone calls
  • Completing general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry
  • Maintaining filing systems and organising documentation
  • Ordering and managing office and site supplies
  • Preparing invoices and purchase orders
  • Assisting with the upkeep and cleanliness of office and housing when required.

    What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative or support role (mining or construction preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Sound numerical and data entry skills
  • Experience with Xero, JDE, or SAP (preferred)
  • Current driver's licence (preferred)

    You will also demonstrate a positive, can‑do attitude, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
