Your new role

As an Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of the office. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing BAS and other ATO lodgements
  • Maintaining accurate equipment records, including maintenance schedules and certifications
  • Preparing and processing documentation such as work orders, dockets, and permits
  • Managing incoming and outgoing communications (emails, phone calls, website enquiries)
  • Assisting with invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers to support smooth operations
  • Performing general office duties, including reception, filing, scanning, and photocopying
  • Maintaining a well-organised office environment
  • Accurately entering and updating data across internal systems

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 5 years' administration experience, ideally within construction or the heavy equipment industry
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A current driver's licence

Desirable:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or a related field
