Your new role
As an Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of the office. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing BAS and other ATO lodgements
- Maintaining accurate equipment records, including maintenance schedules and certifications
- Preparing and processing documentation such as work orders, dockets, and permits
- Managing incoming and outgoing communications (emails, phone calls, website enquiries)
- Assisting with invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to support smooth operations
- Performing general office duties, including reception, filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Maintaining a well-organised office environment
- Accurately entering and updating data across internal systems
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 5 years' administration experience, ideally within construction or the heavy equipment industry
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- A current driver's licence
Desirable:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or a related field
