About the role

As the Rostering & Administration Officer at Sanctuary Family Solutions', you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our Support services across the Townsville region. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time position will see you coordinating rosters, managing client and staff records, and providing critical administrative support to the wider team.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaising with clients, carers, and support workers to coordinate and manage complex roster schedules

  • Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date records for clients and support workers

  • Providing administrative support, including data entry, filing, and general office duties

  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and other documentation

  • Handling enquiries and providing exceptional customer service

  • Supporting the implementation of new systems and processes to drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a similar rostering or administration role, ideally within the community services or healthcare sector

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach

  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology, including rostering and client management systems - Shift Care, Microsoft Office & Outlook

  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable members of the community

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
