Enkindle Village School is seeking an organised, proactive and highly capable Administration and Operations Officer to join our team.

This is a key role within our school, providing administrative, operational and organisational support to the principal and wider school community. As a small independent primary school, we are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

The school is currently located at the JCU Campus and will relocate to the former Stuart State School site in 2027, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute during a significant period of growth and transition.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Principal, the Administration and Operations Officer plays a central role in supporting the daily operation of the school.

Key responsibilities include:

●      Front office reception and community engagement

●      Student administration and records management

●      Executive support to the Principal

●      Human resources and workforce administration

●      Compliance and operational coordination

●      Facilities, maintenance and resource coordination

●      School communications, events and systems administration

This role requires initiative, sound judgement, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

About You

You will have:

●      Experience in administration, executive support, operations or office management

●      Strong organisational and time management skills

●      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

●      High attention to detail and accuracy

●      Strong digital skills, including Microsoft 365

●      The ability to work independently and solve problems proactively

●      A calm, professional and collaborative approach

Experience in a school, education, community or not-for-profit environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Essential Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain:

●      Queensland Blue Card

●      Current First Aid and CPR qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

●      National Police Check

●      Right to work in Australia
