A pleasant, well spoken person with good communication and efficiency skills is required for our busy Mackay office on a temporary contract basis.

Applicants do not necessarily need to be experienced in reception work, as training specific to our business requirement will be provided.

2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE - 1 x TEMP Full Time; 1 x TEMP Part Time. Positions are on a short term contract for a minimum of 6 to maximum of 8 weeks, commencing Monday 29th June, 2026.  

Duties and responsibilities will include:-

  • Front desk reception

  • Making client bookings

  • Multiple telephone line use

  • Point Of Sale transactions

  • Filing and general administration

  • Assisting the other staff, as well as specific duties of the Manager as required

  • Other office administration as required

Requirements:-

  • Excellent verbal communication

  • Computer literacy skills including in the use of the Microsoft Office suite

  • Attention to detail and be able to follow direction

  • Work efficiently as a team and autonomously

  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent client service

  • Experience in an Accounting, Finance, Medical industry is an advantage

The firm is fast paced with a 4-line incoming call reception.  The applicant will be required to manage multiple calls at a time during the busy periods while scheduling electronic appointments.  Includes all other facets of general office administration also required.
