Branch Coordinator

Full-Time Permanent Opportunity in Townsville, QLD

PERSOLKELLY is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing national organisation within the transport and equipment rental sector to recruit an experienced and proactive Branch Coordinator for their Townsville operation.

As the face of the branch, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, coordinating fleet activities, and ensuring customers receive a seamless and professional experience from start to finish. This position offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily branch operations and customer interactions
  • Coordinating vehicle and equipment rentals from enquiry through to return
  • Preparing rental contracts, invoicing, and maintaining accurate system records
  • Conducting pre-hire and de-hire inspections, ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Coordinating vehicle servicing, maintenance, and fleet availability
  • Liaising with internal teams and external service providers to support operational efficiency
  • Managing after-hours collections and drop-offs where required
  • Ensuring all fleet assets are maintained in a safe, compliant, and ready-to-rent condition
  • Supporting utilisation targets and contributing to overall branch performance

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised and customer-focused professional with the ability to balance operational coordination with hands-on responsibilities. You will thrive in a fast-moving environment and take pride in delivering outstanding service and solutions.

    You will ideally bring:

  • Previous experience within transport, logistics, equipment hire, fleet, or industrial services
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills
  • Excellent administrative and organisational capabilities
  • Mechanical aptitude or confidence working around heavy vehicles or equipment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • HR Licence required (HC advantageous), or willingness to obtain
