WorkPac Health & Social Care is seeking compassionate and resilient Residential Youth Support Workers for ongoing opportunities across Rockhampton and Gladstone, Queensland.

This is your chance to step into a meaningful, hands-on role supporting young people with complex needs in a structured, team-based residential environment, no travelling between clients, just focused, impactful work in one home per shift.


About Our Client


Our client delivers government-funded residential care services for children and young people with complex behavioural, mental health, and trauma-related needs. Their programs are built around trauma-informed care, providing safe, stable, and therapeutic environments where young people can grow, build confidence, and work toward positive life outcomes.

You’ll be working across a small number of residential homes, each with consistent teams and a strong focus on collaboration, safety, and support.


What You Will Be Doing


  • Supporting young people in daily routines, care activities, and social engagement.

  • Creating nurturing, stable, and therapeutic environments.

  • Building trusting relationships and assisting with behaviour support and personal development.

  • Following care plans and working collaboratively with support teams.


What You Will Need


  • Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child & Family, or Community Services.

  • Working with Children Check / NDIS Worker Screening.

  • First Aid & CPR preferred.

  • Driver’s Licence.

  • Compassionate, resilient, and young‑focussed.
