About Us:

At Access Recreation, we are passionate about supporting people to live their best lives. We are currently seeking dedicated, values-driven Residential Youth Workers to join our passionate team supporting young people aged 12–17. This is more than a job – it's an opportunity to provide stability, safety, support and hope to young people who need it most.

About Our Home:

We provide 24/7 care in a stable, homelike environment for young people with complex needs arising from trauma, neglect, abuse, or circumstances that prevent them from living safely at home.

Our team works alongside young people in their daily lives – not from behind a desk. From preparing meals together and supporting daily routines to helping regulate emotions, attend appointments and navigate life's challenges, we show up consistently with care, compassion and professionalism.

Every day, we support young people to:

💙 Feel safe, valued and heard

💙 Build confidence, resilience and life skills

💙 Develop independence and positive relationships

💙 Create hope for a brighter future

About The Role – Residential Youth Worker

You will work directly with young people to provide care, guidance, emotional support and positive role modelling while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting daily living skills, personal care and household routines

• Assisting with recreation, education and community participation

• Supporting young people through challenging behaviours using trauma-informed approaches

• Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans where required

• Completing case notes, incident reports, sleep logs and other documentation

• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
