Disability Support Worker (Casual)

Supportability Care Services – Rockhampton & Central Queensland

Supportability Care Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Casual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across Rockhampton and the wider Central Queensland region.

We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered support that empowers individuals with disability to live independently, achieve their goals, and participate fully in their community.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide flexible, client-focused support to people with a range of needs. Your duties may include:

  • Supporting daily living tasks such as meal preparation and household duties

  • Providing community access and social participation support

  • Assisting with transport to appointments, activities, and outings

  • Supporting clients to achieve individual goals and independence

  • Following individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies

  • Maintaining accurate documentation and shift notes

  • Support ongoing business needs as required

About You

We are looking for caring and dependable individuals who can build positive relationships and support clients with dignity and respect. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or community services (preferred)

  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)

  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

  • A valid First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)

  • A current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings

  • A genuine passion for supporting people with disability

  • Strong, reliable work ethic

Location

This role is based in Rockhampton and the Central Queensland region, with shifts varying across community, home, and support settings.
