Multicap's sole purpose is enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families. We deliver tailored, holistic services designed to meet the unique needs of every individual across all ages, abilities, and circumstances and are looking for those that connect strongly to that purpose.  

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our West Rockhampton team, assisting customers to be independent and to meet their full potential. This opportunity is for part-time positions that will support a range of work periods including morning, evening and active overnight shifts. 

 

About Your New Role 
As a member of our disability services team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring quality care and independence is embedded in the supports provided and work closely with internal and external stakeholders in facilitating innovative strategies to help customers overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential. In this position, you will support individuals with a disability in a friendly Supported Independent Living (SIL) home, helping them live independently and achieve their personal goals. 

 

About You 

  • An empathetic person who has a genuine passion for supporting individuals with a disability 
  • Ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations 
  • Experience with health support, mealtime assistance, medication administration and manual handling (highly desirable)
