As the Home Site Supervisor in Mackay, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our clients with both physical and psycho-social disabilities. As a dynamic leader, you will guide and inspire a dedicated team to deliver person-centered care within our Home service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, coordinating individualised care plans, and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers both team members and our much loved clients.

Other key duties will include:

  • Supporting the financial performance of the Home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget.
  • Ensuring team member awareness of each individual requirements.
  • Providing support that aligned to the person's plans, goals and any other requirements, including but not limited to all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment is provided.
  • Delivering and encouraging others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes.


Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is a compassionate and resilient leader with experience supporting people with complex behaviours, mental health challenges, and high support needs within the disability sector. You will bring a hands-on leadership style, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a safe, positive, and person-centred environment for both clients and team members. The ability to remain calm under pressure, lead by example, and build strong relationships with stakeholders is essential for success in this role.

We also require:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
  • Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Experience in the Disability sector and ideally with complex behaviours.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
