Capras Community Care is seeking a motivated, community-minded and highly organised person for the role of Community Partnerships & Leadership Support, to join our growing team in Central Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, supporting senior leadership such as the CEO, coordinating community initiatives, and helping create meaningful outcomes for local people and our communities.

Working closely with senior leadership, stakeholders, community organisations, sporting groups, businesses and government representatives, you will play an important role in strengthening partnerships, supporting strategic initiatives, and enhancing community engagement across the region.


About the Role

The role of Community Partnerships & Leadership Support will:

Build and maintain strong community and stakeholder relationships

Support leadership with coordination, communication and administration

Assist in planning and delivering community engagement initiatives and events

Prepare reports, presentations and partnership documentation

Coordinate meetings, schedules and stakeholder communications

Support sponsorship, partnership and promotional activities

Help identify opportunities for collaboration and community impact

Represent Capras Community Care in a professional and positive manner


About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Genuinely passionate about community engagement and positive social outcomes

An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Professional, proactive and solutions-focused

Experienced in administration, stakeholder engagement or community development

Confident using Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Experience in community services, partnerships, stakeholder engagement or executive support

Knowledge of the Central Queensland community sector

Event coordination or project support experience

Current C Class Driver Licence

Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

Position Title: Community Partnerships & Leadership Support Officer

Position Purpose

The Community Partnerships & Leadership Support role provides high-level administrative, stakeholder and community engagement support to the leadership team while strengthening partnerships and community connections across Central Queensland.

The role is responsible for supporting strategic initiatives, community programs, events, partnerships and operational coordination to help deliver positive outcomes for the organisation and the communities it serves.


Key Responsibilities

Community Partnerships & Engagement

Develop and maintain positive relationships with community organisations, stakeholders and partners

Assist with identifying and developing partnership opportunities

Coordinate community engagement activities and events

Represent the organisation at meetings, networking events and community activities where required

Support sponsorship and partnership initiatives

Leadership & Executive Support

Provide administrative support to leadership staff

Coordinate calendars, meetings and appointments

Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence and briefing documents

Assist with project coordination and strategic initiatives

Maintain confidential records and documentation

Communications & Promotion

Support internal and external communications

Assist with social media, newsletters and promotional activities

Coordinate marketing materials and partnership communications

Ensure branding and messaging align with organisational values

Administration & Coordination

Maintain accurate records and databases

Assist with budgeting and procurement processes where required

Support operational coordination across programs and initiatives

Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures


Selection Criteria

Essential

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Ability to build professional relationships with diverse stakeholders

High level administrative and computer skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Professional, adaptable and community-focused approach

Current Driver Licence

Desirable

Experience in community engagement, stakeholder management or executive support

Knowledge of community services and/or not-for-profit sector

Experience coordinating events or projects

Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening or ability to obtain
