About the Role

We are urgently seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a participant in the Burdekin area. This is a priority recruitment opportunity with ongoing weekly hours and the potential for flexibility in scheduling.

Available Hours

  • Approximately 13 hours one week and 11 hours the following week (fortnightly roster)

  • Shifts are typically on Tuesdays, however the participant is flexible and hours may be spread across two days per week if required

  • There may be opportunities for additional shifts as services expand

Your day-to-day might include

· Personal care and daily living assistance

· Domestic support and household tasks

· Companionship and emotional support

· Transport and community access

· Respite care for families

What you'll bring

· A genuine passion for helping others

· A reliable vehicle and a willingness to travel

· Preferred 6 months of experience in disability support

· A relevant qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate III in individual support, etc.) or willingness to enroll.

· A relevant qualification in disability support must be held at the time of application.

· Up-to-date police check, working with children's check, NDIS worker clearance, first aid and CPR, flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (preferred), and comprehensive car insurance

· Comprehensive car insurance coverage is mandatory for this position.

· Valid Australian work rights are welcome for this position
