The Role

As a Support Worker, you will work closely with participants to support their independence, wellbeing and personal goals.

Responsibilities may include:

• Community access and social support

• Personal care and daily living assistance

• Participant mentoring and confidence building

• Supporting independence and life skills

• Progress notes and clear documentation

• Collaboration with families and management

You must be reliable and able to service shifts across the Townsville region.

Experience supporting personal care and community access is highly regarded.

Experience in disability, youth work or community services will be an advantage.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Australian work rights

• Ability to reliably service shifts across the Townsville region

• Availability for afternoon and evening shifts up to 8:00pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

• Full Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle

• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)

• National Police Check

• First Aid & CPR

• Excellent written and verbal English skills (clear documentation and incident reporting required)

Certificate III in Individual Support, Youth Work or Community Services is advantageous.
