HIRING NOW – HIRE YARD LEADING HAND (MACKAY)

• Location: Paget, Mackay
• Rate: $54.55 p/h inclusive of allowances + 12% Super
• Work Type: Permanent, Full-Time (38 hours per week)
• Roster: 6am - 2.30pm

We're looking for a hands-on leader to join our small branch in Paget. 

If you know your way around tools, can run a yard, and keep a small crew on track, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead a small, tight-knit crew – training, supervising, keeping jobs running safely
• Complete repairs, maintenance & upgrades on our hire fleet
• Operate forklift to load/unload modules and equipment
• Inspect, clean & prep buildings so they're ready to go back out for hire
• Help coordinate deliveries, pickups, and yard movements
• Keep records up to date, accurate and support with stocktakes
• Handle customer handovers and queries

What you'll Need:

• Current Forklift Ticket & Driver’s Licence
• Solid hands-on skills with tools, maintenance or repairs
• Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring others
• Basic computer skills
• Background in construction, building, or hire yard work preferred
