We’re looking for passionate, resilient and values-driven individuals to join our Youth Care Program, supporting young people with high and complex needs in a safe, nurturing environment.

Salary: SCHADS 2B $44.59 - $48.31 per hour + Super + Salary packaging benefits + leave loading.

• Provide trauma‑informed, culturally safe care that reflects our Child Safety Practice Principles
• Support young people in developing life skills, routines and pathways for healing
• Work collaboratively with families, communities and external stakeholders
• Maintain clear documentation and uphold Wellways’ high standards of care
• Engage in reflective practice and professional development

• A relevant qualification (or currently working towards one)
• Ability to build trust and positive relationships with young people
• First Aid and driver’s licence
• Availability to do sleepovers and shift work (essential requirement)
• Police clearance – not less than 12 months old
• Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate completed
• Hope and Healing Framework Foundation Training – this will be supplied by Wellways if needed

• Salary packaging up to $15,899 enabling you to spend a portion of your salary before it is taxed to pay for things like rent, mortgage repayments, car leasing
