We are seeking compassionate, reliable and committed Residential Care Workers to support children and young people living in out-of-home care. As a Residential Care Worker, you will:
Support children and young people in a home environment
Assist with daily routines, appointments, education and recreational activities
Promote life skills, independence and positive decision-making
Build therapeutic relationships with young people
Maintain accurate documentation and handovers
Work collaboratively with Child Safety, families and other professionals
Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours and crisis situations

Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
Hold, be enrolled in, or be willing to enrol in a Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Community Services or equivalent qualification
Hold or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Hold a current National Police Check
Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
Hold a current Driver’s Licence
Have access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel
Hold comprehensive car insurance
Have a smartphone with internet access
