At Little Zebra Gracemere, we know that mealtimes are a big part of every child’s day. We’re looking for a creative and caring Cook/Chef to join our team and prepare delicious, nutritious meals that fuel learning, play, and growth.

This role is about more than food – it’s about creating a positive experience for children from babies through to kindergarten, ensuring every meal is safe, balanced, and prepared with love.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing fresh, wholesome meals for children daily

• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

• Recording menus, temperature logs, and allergy plans

• Ordering and managing stock within budget

• Safely catering for all dietary and allergy requirements

What we’re looking for

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

• First Aid Certificate

• Previous experience cooking in childcare or a similar setting

• Great organisation and time management skills

• Warm, positive energy and a genuine love for children

• Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
