We are a family owned and operated business who are leaders in the childcare sector, with years of experience in operating childcare centres. 

We are seeking an individual with a passion for cleaning to become a part of the Kool Beanz Mackay family.  You will be required to work across three Kool Beanz Childcare Centres in Mackay.  Kool Beanz Suns, Harrup Park and Kool Beanz Academy Bridge Road and Kool Beanz Goldsmith Street.

The Role:

You will be responsible for:

  • providing a clean and safe environment

  • ensuring all areas of the centre are cleaned and maintained to the highest-level including children's classrooms, offices bathrooms/ toilets, outdoor areas, staff room and common areas. This may include some pressure washing duties outside to support the team

  • Collect and remove all rubbish

The Requirements:

  • Be well-presented, proactive and able to work well independently

  • Prior childcare, commercial or retail cleaning experience preferred

  • Be available to work 4 - 5 days per week (Part Time role)

  • Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices and a strong understanding of infection control principles

  • High attention to detail

  • Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions

  • Be able to communicate in verbal and written English

  • Must have valid work rights in Australia

  • A valid paid Blue Card or is willing to obtain one
