What we are looking for

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of Catherine McAuley College. These are full-time continuing positions to commence January 2027. Applicants interested in part time opportunities are also encouraged to apply.

We welcome applications from registered teachers who can teach in any or a combination of subjects as we move into for our final stage of growth in 2027. The role of a teacher is to provide quality education and care for secondary school students at Catherine McAuley College. The ideal candidate understands Catholic Education’s mission, can design differentiated teaching strategies, uses data to guide improvement and collaborates effectively with colleagues, parents and the community.

Catherine McAuley College opened in 2022 to meet the growing demand for high-quality Catholic secondary education in the Mackay region. Commencing with its inaugural cohort of Year 7 students, the College has been strategically growing one year level at a time and will complete its full Years 7-12 profile by 2027.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
