We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Centre Manager who shares our commitment to high-quality outcomes for children, strong relationships with families, and a culture of excellence. As Centre Manager, you will be more than an operational leader. You will be an educational advocate, mentor, coach, and role model who inspires others to achieve their best while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and child safety.

About the Role

As the Nominated Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead a team of passionate educators to deliver exceptional education and care.

  • Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive high-quality educational practice aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.

  • Mentor and develop educators through coaching, reflective practice, and professional learning opportunities.

  • Build strong, authentic relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community.

  • Champion child safety and wellbeing, ensuring children's rights remain at the centre of decision-making.

  • Maintain excellence in compliance, governance, and operational management.

  • Lead the ongoing implementation and review of the Quality Improvement Plan.

  • Create an environment where children feel safe, valued, capable, and connected.

  • Take ownership of the service performance and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen quality outcomes.

  • Is committed to maintaining the highest standards of child safety, wellbeing, and professional practice.

Essential Requirements

✔ Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

✔ Previous experience as a Centre Manager, Assistant Director or Educational Leader within an early childhood setting.

✔ Strong knowledge of:

  • Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

  • National Quality Framework (NQF)

  • National Quality Standard (NQS)

  • Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations

✔ Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving quality improvement initiatives

✔ Current Blue Card & National Child Safety Training

✔ Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

✔ Experience with childcare management software and CCS compliance, with XAP software experience highly regarded
