About The RoleCarinity Education Shalom is seeking a Secondary Teacher to support young people (Years 7–12) . This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering targeted, student-centred learning within a supportive, trauma-informed environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in helping students engage with education, build confidence, and work towards achieving their personal and academic goals. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive school culture where every student is supported to succeed.
Your Day-to-day Will InvolveYou are a passionate and adaptable educator who is committed to supporting young people to re-engage with learning and achieve their goals. You build strong, respectful relationships across the school community and bring a calm, compassionate approach particularly when working with students at risk.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside youth workers and support staff to provide consistent, student-centred support. With strong communication and organisational skills, you’re confident delivering quality learning, engaging and purposeful instruction, and contributing to a safe, inclusive school culture aligned with Carinity’s values: Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork, Engage positively.
