About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable Site Maintenance Worker / Groundskeeper to support day‑to‑day operations on a busy construction job site. This role is ideal for someone who’s safety‑focused, hands‑on, and comfortable working around trades, machinery, and active work zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Site upkeep — keeping pathways clear, maintaining site cleanliness, removing debris, and managing general presentation

• Grounds maintenance — mowing, trimming, weed control, and maintaining perimeter areas

• Equipment checks — inspecting small tools, reporting faults, and ensuring safe storage

• Material handling — assisting with unloading, moving materials, and organising storage areas

• Safety support — reporting hazards, maintaining barricades/signage, and supporting site compliance

What We’re Looking For

• Experience on a construction or civil site (preferred)

• Ability to operate lawn/garden equipment and basic hand tools

• Strong awareness of worksite safety and willingness to follow procedures

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions

• Positive attitude, reliable attendance, and ability to work independently

• White Card (required or willing to obtain)

• Driver’s licence essential
