EDC is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 4 years’ experience to join our tight‑knit, dynamic team at our head office in Mackay. We pride ourselves on Diligence, Discipline, and Dependability in delivering high‑quality engineering services.

This role is based in Mackay, QLD, with occasional site travel for inspections and client interactions to support the delivery of quality engineering solutions.

You will possess the following attributes:

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering

• Training and experience in 3D scanning, including portable CMM arm operation

• Scan data processing skills using Faro, CloudCompare, and PolyWorks

• Advanced proficiency in Computer‑Aided Design & Drafting (ideally Autodesk Inventor Mechanical Design Suite)

• Experience in mining, sugar, and heavy industry

• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS3990, AS4100, AS1657) and general mechanical engineering practices

• A team‑focused attitude and willingness to grow within our business culture
