The role responsibilities will be -

· Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies across all farm operations

· Lead daily task allocation and monitor team performance

· Identify, report, and remediate safety hazards promptly

· Supervise safe operation of farm machinery and equipment including ATVs, tractors, mowers, and telehandlers

· Oversee preventative and scheduled maintenance on infrastructure and equipment

· Monitor and maintain farm infrastructure such as pumps, bores, pipes, fences, and gates

· Coordinate slashing and chemical spraying activities

· Assist in pest and feral animal control programs

· Maintain farm presentation standards for safety and aesthetics

· Participate in fire management activities including controlled burns

· Perform and supervise basic workshop tasks related to farm operations

· Ensure accurate digital records of material usage and maintenance activities

· Support the Farm Supervisor in managing visitors and contractors

· Mentor and train Farm Hands in safe and efficient work practices

Qualifications required -

Mandatory:

· Unrestricted Manual C Class Driver’s License

· Agricultural Chemical Accreditation

· Senior First Aid Certification

Preferred:

· High risk work license (telehandler)

· Demonstrated experience supervising farm operations and teams

· Proficiency operating farm machinery including tractors and ATVs

· Experience with hand tools, power tools, fencing, welding, and basic mechanics

· Strong technology skills (smartphones, tablets, GPS systems)

· Ability to lead safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, perform manual labor, and lift up to 20 kg.
