Mackay Family Dental is excited to announce the opening of our new modern clinic in Mackay! We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our friendly and growing team.

About Us

At Mackay Family Dental, we are committed to providing gentle, comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. Our clinic is equipped with modern technology and designed to create a comfortable environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures

• Preparing and sterilising instruments according to infection control standards

• Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment

• Assisting with patient care and ensuring a positive experience

• Reception duties

• Supporting the dentist and wider team as required

About You

• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred but not essential)

• Previous dental assisting experience highly regarded

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• A positive, team-focused attitude

• Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation protocols

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
