As an Independent Patients’ Rights Advisor, you’ll support patients, families and carers to understand their rights under the Mental Health Act, help people have their voices heard and work alongside mental health professionals and community stakeholders to protect patient interests.
If you’re an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with strong communication skills, compassion and a passion for advocacy, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference across Central Queensland communities.
