A growing National Healthcare organisation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse (Enrolled or Registered Nurse) to join their friendly and professional team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive general practice environment.



Your new role

As a Practice Nurse, you will support the efficient operation of the practice while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in collaboration with GPs and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care including triage, immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management, ECGs, and pathology collection
  • Assist with procedures, documentation, and patient education
  • Support care planning, coordination, and follow-up communication with patients
  • Deliver health screening, education, and assist with care plans and recalls
  • Conduct home/hospital visits as required
  • Maintain equipment, sterilisation processes, and clinical supplies
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, WHS, and regulatory standards
  • Assist with reception duties where necessary


What you'll need to succeed

You are a patient-focused Nurse who demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and strong clinical judgement. Essential requirements are as follows:
  • Registered or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Relevant tertiary nursing qualification
  • Minimum 1 year nursing experience (general practice or community setting preferred)
  • Current professional indemnity insurance
  • Current driving licence
Highly Desirable
  • Experience in general practice or community health
  • Additional certifications (e.g. Women's Health, Diabetes Education, Asthma/Spirometry)
  • Experience working with diverse patient groups
  • Previous experience with an accreditation
