Health Consultant/ Health Coach- Exercise Scientist or Nutritionist

Casual position: 3 to 20 hours a week (could build to more for the right person) ~$40-48 an hour

Activate Health is a multidisciplinary allied health team owned and managed by local health professionals. We are very passionate about increasing the health and quality of life of our community, providing high standard rehabilitation and health promotion services, and providing quality career opportunities for passionate health professionals and health support staff. An opportunity is available for a Health Consultant/ Health Coach to join our team and practice within our amazing facilities across Rockhampton, Yeppoon, and Emu Park.

Activate Health requires a Health Consultant to facilitate an exciting adult education health promotion program within the Central Queensland Area. A majority of the programs are in the Rockhampton area, with some travel within the CQ area required. Travel time and costs are included into your work hours (fully covered and paid). The program is a highly recognised with the health community and received well from participants.

Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field is required, such as Nutritionist, Exercise Scientist, or Health Science.

•  Flexibility will be needed for days/ work times, but we can work around your needs also and give ample notice.

Provided:

• Full training and ongoing support (to start early July 2026)

• Completed program Admin and operations completed by Activate Health

• Work car and travel cost covered as required

• Uniforms, and all program Facilitation needs
