The team at My Chiropractor are on the hunt for an exceptional Chiropractic Assistant to join our high-performing, values-driven practice for approximately 20 hours per week.

This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves people, thrives in a busy healthcare environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding client experiences. You'll be the calm, capable presence at the heart of our practice, supporting our chiropractors, caring for our clients, and keeping the day running smoothly.

Important role requirements (please read carefully)

This position requires you to be on your feet for extended periods, as we operate a standing reception desk and you'll move around the practice throughout your shift.

You must be able to commit to shift work, including:

  • Morning shifts: 6.00am – 12.30pm

  • Afternoon shifts: 12.00pm – 6.30pm

  • Occasional full days: 6.00am – 6.30pm (when required)

  • Saturday morning on a rotating basis (approximately once every 3 weeks)

Availability is required Monday to Saturday, with a mix of half and full-day shifts (you will not be required to work six days per week).

If you cannot commit to these hours, please do not apply — this is non-negotiable.


Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional client service at all times

  • Managing front office operations

  • Greeting clients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments

  • Assisting clients into treatment rooms and preparing rooms

  • Receipting and handling payments (cash/EFTPOS)

  • Supporting chiropractors during consultations, exams, and reports

  • Preparing clinical documentation

  • Maintaining presentation of the practice

  • Confidential and accurate management of client records

  • Assisting with general administration and practice promotion


Key Assets We're Looking For

  • Genuine passion for helping people

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Polished phone manner and professional presentation

  • Ability to build rapport and remember client names

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Confidence using appointment software and EFTPOS/HICAPS (desirable, not essential)

  • No prior experience with appointment booking software is required as full training will be provided

  • A positive, proactive, can-do attitude
