General Manager, Care & Practice to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a diverse service portfolio. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred services that achieve meaningful outcomes for individuals, families, and communities. You will play a key role in driving practice excellence through strong clinical governance, evidence-based models of care, and a culture of continuous improvement, while supporting a capable and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred and evidence-based services Drive clinical governance, quality, and risk management systems
Translate strategic priorities into operational plans and measurable outcomes Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and safety standards Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Build and maintain strong partnerships with government, community, and clinical stakeholders, including First Nations communities Strengthen workforce capability through leadership, mentoring, and professional development
Champion inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive service delivery Lead the co-design and evaluation of innovative care models What you'll need to succeed
You are a strategic and collaborative leader with a strong clinical background and a passion for improving outcomes in community services. You will bring: Significant senior leadership experience in service delivery (ideally within community services or not-for-profit sectors)
Clinical qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing) with current professional registration Strong knowledge of quality frameworks, safeguarding standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g. NDIS, HSQF) Proven experience leading strategic planning, service improvement, and operational excellence
Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams and building workforce capability
A commitment to person-centred, evidence-based, and trauma-informed practice using sound judgement and clinical expertise Requirements Relevant background checks and clearances (including criminal history check, working with children and NDIS screening)
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Current Queensland driving licence and ability to travel as required
