At The Trustee for Milk Hospitality Investment Trust (Milk Espresso Willows), we’re driven by a passion for specialty coffee and modern brunch cuisine, showcasing creativity and skill through high-quality ingredients and continuous experimentation with new recipes and flavours. Responsibilities:
1. Set up tables with appropriate cutlery, glassware, napkins, and condiments, and arrange seating for customers 2. Take accurate food and beverage orders, including specialty coffee drinks and brunch items 3. Offer menu recommendations and share daily specials, highlighting popular dishes like Eggs Benedict, Waffle Cake, and Avocado & Poached Eggs
4. Clear and clean tables promptly, ensuring the dining area remains tidy, welcoming, and photo-ready at all times 5. Respond to customer enquiries, address concerns or complaints professionally, and escalate issues when necessary 6. Process payments via the POS system, handling cash, card, and digital transactions efficiently
7. Restock service supplies (e.g., coffee cups, saucers, napkins, sugar, sauces) and assist with inventory management as needed 8. Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including regular handwashing, proper food handling, and sanitising workstations Requirements:
1. At least one (1) year of full-time (38 hours per week) experience in a waiter, front-of-house, or café hospitality role, gained within the last five (5) years. 2. Demonstrated ability to deliver efficient and attentive table service in a fast-paced café environment, including handling peak-hour rushes. 3. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests, take accurate orders, and provide menu recommendations (e.g., coffee blends, brunch specials).
