Recruitment Partner

Help us build the team powering Queensland’s renewable future.

Green Energy Technologies is Queensland’s leading solar and renewable energy business, proudly servicing the Whitsundays, Mackay and Townsville regions.

Since launching in 2010 from the Whitsundays, we’ve grown into a fast-moving, purpose-driven organisation committed to making renewable energy more accessible for homes and businesses across Queensland.

At GET, we are not just installing solar.
We are helping drive Australia’s transition toward a more sustainable future.

As our business continues to grow, we are investing in our People & Culture capability and are looking for an energetic, proactive and people-focused Recruitment Partner to help us find incredible talent and build strong teams across the business.

This is not a “post and pray” recruitment role.

We are looking for someone who thrives on finding great people before everyone else does. Someone who loves building relationships, thinking creatively and proactively solving hiring challenges.

Someone who gets excited about connecting great people with meaningful careers in an industry that genuinely matters.

Why This Role Matters

Every great installation, every satisfied customer and every successful project starts with having the right people in the business.

This role will play a critical part in helping GET continue to scale sustainably by attracting talented people who align with our values, culture and future direction.

You will work closely with leaders across the business to manage recruitment, improve onboarding experiences and proactively build talent pipelines for future growth.

Our Mission

“To ignite a revolution of savings and sustainability.”

Everything we do is driven by creating meaningful impact for our customers, our people and our communities.

Our Values

Purpose - Actions today will have a meaningful impact.

Community - Be a part of something greater than ourselves by supporting and uplifting our team and the community we serve.

Integrity - Take ownership, stay accountable and deliver our best.

Continuous Improvement - Committed to improving ourselves, our service and our impact.

Solutions Focused - Proactively owning every challenge until we deliver the best solution.

About the Role

As the Recruitment Partner, you will manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities across the business while proactively building talent pipelines for future workforce needs.

You will partner closely with Branch Managers and operational leaders to improve recruitment outcomes, candidate experience and onboarding success across both trade and professional roles.

You will be excited to travel to all of our locations including Cannonvale, Mackay and Townsville.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes

  • Drafting engaging job advertisements

  • Screening and assessing applicants

  • Coordinating interviews and recruitment logistics

  • Conducting reference and pre-employment checks

  • Building proactive candidate pipelines

  • Direct sourcing and headhunting activities

  • Supporting leaders with recruitment strategy and hiring decisions

  • Coordinating onboarding and induction activities

  • Managing recruitment workflows and reporting

  • Supporting probation transition activities

What We’re Looking For

You! If you have a passion for connecting people to meaningful careers!

  • Ability to proactively source talent

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong organisational skills and urgency

  • High attention to detail and follow through

Highly regarded experience includes:

  • Trade, electrical, construction or field workforce recruitment

  • LinkedIn Recruiter or proactive sourcing experience

  • Internal recruitment or agency recruitment background

The Type of Person Who Will Thrive Here

You are someone who:

  • Pulls rabbits out of hats
