ABOUT CANNINGTON


Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead. Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.


Flights are direct to the onsite airport, and the mine is only 3.5 km from camp—the perfect distance for a sunset walk or run home along a purpose-built walking track. The onsite accommodation includes meal services, sports/gym facilities, swimming pool, music room, and social area.

ABOUT THE ROLE


This role is a full-time 15month Fixed-Term Contract on a 4:3 roster, Monday to Thursday, FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville.


As the HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering efficient coordination across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate systems, seamless recruitment and onboarding processes, and responsive support to leaders and team members.


Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:


  • Provide advice to leaders on performance, conduct and policy queries
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, approvals and interview logistics
  • Maintain HR systems, data integrity and organisational structures
  • Deliver reporting, analytics and administrative support across HR activities



ABOUT YOU


You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:


  • Strong stakeholder engagement and clear communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail with accurate data management capability
  • Collaborative approach with a focus on customer service
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors, HCM)


Qualifications for this position are:


  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant industry experience
  • Current Drivers Licence
