Location: Mackay, QLD Wisely is seeking an organised and proactive Workforce Planner to join our Mackay team. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for workforce planning, mobilisation, compliance, and resource coordination across multiple shutdown and outage projects.
Working closely with Recruitment, Training, Account Managers, Clients, and Employees, you will ensure workers are available, compliant, and mobilised safely and on schedule.
What You'll Be Doing - Manage workforce availability and maintain a job-ready labour pool
- Allocate and mobilise personnel to meet project and client requirements
- Coordinate training, site inductions, medicals, travel, accommodation, and site access
- Develop and manage workforce schedules, rosters, and mobilisation plans
- Monitor workforce demand, labour shortages, and upcoming project requirements
- Maintain accurate workforce data and provide regular planning updates to stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with employees, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
What You'll Bring - Experience in workforce planning, mobilisation, scheduling, or resource coordination within mining, shutdowns, outages, maintenance, or labour hire
- Ability to forecast labour requirements and effectively manage workforce availability
- Strong understanding of mobilisation, compliance, and operational requirements
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using workforce management, scheduling, or mobilisation systems
