NTHA Trainees & Apprentices are seeking a motivated Retail Trainee to join our host employer in Mackay.

If you're looking to kick-start your career, earn a full-time wage and gain real workplace experience, this could be the opportunity for you. Over 12 months, you'll complete a SIR30222 Certificate III in Retail while learning valuable skills in customer service, sales, administration and the building supplies industry.

No two days are the same. You'll work with tradies, builders and customers, learn about timber and hardware products, and develop skills that can open doors to future career opportunities.

What You'll Do
• Assist customers and tradespeople at the trade counter
• Learn about timber, hardware and building products
• Process sales and customer orders
• Support accounts and administration tasks
• Complete computer-based work and data entry
• Maintain stock displays and merchandise products
• Assist with day-to-day store operations
• Develop practical customer service and sales skills
