Are you an organised, detail‑driven professional with a passion for helping people during challenging times? Our firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support our Personal Injuries team and provide exceptional service to our clients.

About the Role

As a Personal Injury Legal Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the day‑to‑day operations of our practice. You’ll work closely with clients and third parties to help move cases forward efficiently and compassionately.

Key Responsibilities

Working as part of a small but busy team on a full time basis, you will be responsible for a range of tasks which include:

  • Providing administrative and clerical support to lawyers and legal staff;

  • Communicating professionally with clients, insurers, medical providers and third parties;

  • Preparing and managing legal documents and correspondence;

  • Manage client files;

  • Diary management including scheduling appointments, meetings, court dates and deadlines;

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.

About You

You will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in a legal assistant or administrative role (preferred);

  • Accurate touch typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software;

  • Strong organisational and time management skills;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities;

  • High attention to detail and confidentiality;

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, manage work priorities & multi-task to meet deadlines;

  • Have a professional demeanor and a commitment to client service; and

  • Ability to develop positive work relationships with staff and clients and contribute to a positive team culture.
