Forklift, Batching & Process Operators – Townsville

Protech is seeking reliable Forklift Operators and Batching / Process Operators to join  tier 1 company at their Townsville facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent, ongoing work with a well‑established agribusiness manufacturing and distribution operation supplying product across Australia.

About the Role

• Location: Townsville, QLD
• Hours: Monday to Friday 
• Shifts: Up to 12hr shifts with overtime available as competency increases
• Industry: Manufacturing / Logistics
• Environment: Production and distribution facility

Key Responsibilities Forklift Operations

• Safe operation of forklifts for loading, unloading, and internal product movement
• Supporting warehouse and dispatch operations

Batching & Process Operations

• Operating batching and processing equipment 
• Monitoring production flow, product quality, and output
• Basic fault finding and troubleshooting

General Production & Warehouse Duties

• Stock movement and pallet stacking
• Boxing, wrapping, and preparing product for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Participating in pre‑starts, toolbox talks, and general labouring tasks

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in forklift operation and/or production (ideally 12 months)
• High‑Risk Forklift Licence (LF) – required for forklift duties
• Willingness to learn process operations
• Strong focus on safety, reliability, and attendance
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks
• Good communication skills and a team‑first attitude
• Ability to pass an instant drug and alcohol screen
