About Our Client:
Our client is a leading industrial operation in North Queensland, supporting essential maintenance and operational activities across a large-scale industrial site.
What You Will Be Doing:
Working a 5/2 roster, you’ll play a vital role in supporting site operations as a Warehouse Officer. You will be responsible for ensuring critical materials, parts, and consumables are available to support maintenance and operational teams. Key duties include:
Managing inventory, receipting inbound deliveries, dispatching stock, and maintaining accurate stock records
Coordinating the storage and distribution of parts and materials to support maintenance of port infrastructure and rail assets
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely supply of goods
Conducting stocktakes, cycle counts, and audits across warehouse and laydown areas, including vendor-managed stock
Identifying discrepancies, investigating stock variances, and resolving supply chain issues
What You Will Need:
To be successful in this role, you’ll be a reliable and safety-focused team player with strong attention to detail. You will bring:
A valid High-Risk Work LF Licence (Essential)
A current National C Class Driver’s Licence (Essential)
Previous experience in a warehousing or Storeperson role within mining, rail, or port operations (Highly regarded)
Experience working in safety-critical or heavy industry environments
Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems (Highly regarded)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
