We are currently seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join a well-established industrial operations site based in Bohle, Townsville. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a casual role with strong temp-to-perm potential in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

About the Role:

  • Location: Bohle, Townsville
  • Roster: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (earlier starts required during peak season)
  • Pay Rate: $47 per hour + penalties
  • Type: Casual with potential to transition to permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise and coordinate daily warehouse and production operations
  • Oversee logistics: check orders, manage stock movements and supervise contractors during product receipts and discharges
  • Assist with scheduling maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding orders, delays and feedback
  • Operating and assisting with production systems (conveyors, bagging systems, hoppers and blenders)
  • Manage site operations in the absence of the Operations Manager
  • Supervise operational staff, including casual workers and contractors
  • Support onboarding, training and ongoing skills development for team members
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Operating forklifts for product handling and movement
  • Operating front end loaders (where licenced)
  • Supporting general plant and equipment operation as required

About You:

  • Experience in production coordination, logistics or bulk handling environments
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on operational role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and leadership capability
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Physically fit and able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Current Open Driver's Licence
  • Forklift Licence

Highly Regarded:

  • Excavator ticket
  • Front End Loader ticket
  • Weighbridge experience
