Position: Warehouse Assistant


Job Summary: 

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, and unload goods from delivery trucks or containers.

  2. Sorting and Organizing: Sort and organize incoming products according to established procedures, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.

  3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and conduct periodic stock checks to prevent shortages or overages.

  4. Packing and Shipping: Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products based on customer requirements.

  5. Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on inbound and outbound products to ensure they meet established standards.

  6. Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, following all safety guidelines.

  7. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.

  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery (e.g., forklifts) is a plus.

  • Forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Basic computer skills to handle inventory tracking and data entry tasks.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing warehouse needs.
