Positions are currently available at the Carter & Spencer North Queensland Distribution Centre in Townsville for afternoon shift warehouse assistants.

The roles would ideally be suited to applicants who have previous experience within the warehousing industry and have RF operational experience.   A forklift ticket will be looked on favourably.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate commitment and passion for quality and safety, flexibility to work over a varying span of hours and days, highly developed communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, initiative and ability to be a team player.

These roles operate on a variable roster and will require weekend work and working on public holidays.

To be successful you must display the following:

  • Be physically fit

  • Be able to perform repetitive work

  • Possess excellent communication skills

  • Possess literacy and numeracy skills

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced team

  • Have an excellent attention to detail

  • Have your own reliable transport

  • Be able to work weekends and public holidays

  • Be computer literate
