About Our Client

Middlemount Coal Mine is located approximately 90 kilometres north-east of Emerald and some 7 kilometres west of the township of Middlemount in Queenslands Bowen Basin. Middlemount Coal Mine is an open-cut coal mine which uses conventional truck and shovel methods. Middlemount commenced its full-scale operations in November 2011 with a current mine life expectancy estimated to be more than 20 years.

What you will be Doing

Operating heavy equipment including;

• CAT 789, 793, 794 & 797 Haul Trucks

• CAT 777 & 785 Water Trucks

• CAT D10 & D11 Dozers

• CAT 980 Loaders

• CAT 16/18/24 Graders

• Maintain safety and productivity standards

• Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance

What you will need

• Proven mining experience operating multiple pieces of equipment, including:

  • CAT 789, 793, 794 & 797 Haul Trucks

  • CAT 777 & 785 Water Trucks

  • CAT D10 & D11 Dozers

  • CAT 980 Loaders

  • CAT 16/18/24 Graders

• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11

• Ability to complete an instant Drug & Alcohol screen (within 14 days of site induction)

• Valid Drivers License
