🛠️ Ready to put your skills to work on site? We’re chasing a reliable and experienced Mine Site Trade Assistant to join our crew servicing coal mining operations across Central Queensland. If you’ve worked in the coal industry, know your way around site procedures, and aren’t afraid of a hard day’s work — this one’s for you.

🔧Key Responsibilities:

• Assist tradespeople with on-site repairs and maintenance on HME (Heavy Mobile Equipment)

• Support welding and fabrication tasks in the field

• Prep gear, move tools, and maintain clean work areas

• Operate equipment and vehicles as required

• Follow all site-specific coal mining procedures and safety protocols

• Communicate clearly with supervisors, trades, and site personnel

🛠️What We're Looking For:

• Coal mining experience is essential

• Solid understanding of mine site safety and compliance requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable working in hot, dusty environments

• Standard 11 (Surface), Forklift Ticket, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces

• Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to acquire one

• Mechanically minded and confident using hand tools

• Current Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
