Emeco is seeking an experienced Component Rebuild Fitter to join our Mackay Workshop team. If you’re skilled in rebuilding and repairing CAT transmissions, especially on 777, 789, 793, 797 trucks & D10, D11 dozers, we want to hear from you.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

  • Rebuilding and repairing CAT powertrain components & transmissions. Specialising in CAT 777, 789, 793, 797 trucks & D10, D11 dozers components.
  • Ensuring quality control and compiling reports.
  • Managing jobs and supporting a small team to meet daily targets.
  • Performing maintenance repairs within company guidelines and cost targets.
  • Collaborating with Emeco customers to meet company objectives.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia (No sponsorship available)
  • Australian recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification.
  • Experience with CAT transmissions & powertrain rebuilds.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (mandatory).
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety.

 Highly Regarded Skills:

  • High Risk Work Licence - Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, or Gantry Crane.
