About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our growing team in a full time, permanent position based in Mackay. This is a hands-on role offering a balance of both site based work and workshop duties, providing variety and exposure across our operations. You will play a key role in maintaining our fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment through diagnostics, repairs, breakdown support, and preventative maintenance. Suited to someone who takes pride in their work, you will contribute to both on-site reliability and workshop excellence while upholding strong safety and performance standards. This role is best suited to candidates who are residing locally in the Mackay Region, as it is not a FIFO based position.

About You:

We are looking for reliable and motivated Heavy Diesel Fitter who takes pride in delivering quality work in a high-performing team environment. You will also have previous experience in mining or similar heavy industrial environment and hold current tickets as listed below:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role

• Trade Certificate

• Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)

• Standard 11 (Highly Desirable)

• BMA Core (Highly Desirable)

• Drivers Licence

• Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmosphere (Highly Desirable)

• HRWL (Highly Desirable)

• CPR
