Senior Dragline Engineer - South Walker Creek Mine

We have a rare opportunity for a Senior Dragline Engineer to join the Mine Planning team at South Walker Creek Mine, located in the Bowen Basin. This role plays a critical part in supporting dragline operations and delivering efficient, safe, and cost-effective outcomes.

As a Stanmore Dragline Engineer, you will:

• Develop and maintain execution and concept level dragline plans.
• Optimise dragline operations to improve productivity and efficiency of mining sequences.
• Collaborate closely with production, technical and maintenance teams to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and review dragline designs to support the mine plan.
• Monitor compliance with plans and designs, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Analyse performance data and support operational decision-making.
• Work at one of the best sites in the Basin.

About You:

• Relevant experience in open-cut coal mining operations, with exposure to dragline planning and operations.
• Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mining or Civil) or equivalent.
• Understanding of key productivity and cost drivers in dragline operations.
• Proficiency with mine planning software such as 3D-Dig, Deswik, Vulcan, and SPRY.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
