Byerwen is a high performing open cut coal operation in the Bowen Basin, known for its strong safety culture and consistent production. As part of the Macmahon team on site, you'll be joining a stable, well supported workforce with modern equipment and long term project security.

• Location: Byerwen, QLD
• Roster: 7:7 DIDO
• Rate: $55.00 p/h - $62.00 p/h

About the Role

Operate Dump Trucks to safely meet production targets across our Surface operation at Byerwen. You'll work within a skilled and experienced team collaborating on meaningful projects where your contributions are valued.

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient operation of rigid haul trucks
• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
• Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules
• Maintain a tidy work area and support safe interactions with all teams
• Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values
• Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture

What You'll Bring

• Experience in mining operating the following rigid haul trucks: CAT 794, Hitachi 5000 dump trucks
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
• A team mindset and reliable work ethic
• Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
• Current Stand 11 and Coal board medical is desired but not essential
