Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner, a national mining company with a strong presence across Australia’s major resource projects. We are currently seeking experienced Truck Operators to join the production team at a large-scale open-cut operation near Glenden, Central Queensland.
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Haul Truck Operators to join a high-performing production team on site near Glenden. Operating CAT 789 and above, you’ll play a key role in delivering consistent production targets in a safety-focused environment.
This is a hands-on, production-driven role suited to operators with a minimum of 12 months open-cut mining experience who are ready for an immediate start with a reputable contractor.

About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Haul Truck Operators to join a high-performing production team on site near Glenden. Operating CAT 789 and above, you’ll play a key role in delivering consistent production targets in a safety-focused environment.
This is a hands-on, production-driven role suited to operators with a minimum of 12 months open-cut mining experience who are ready for an immediate start with a reputable contractor.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience in open-pit mining operations
- Proven experience operating CAT 789, 793, 794 & Hitachi 5000 or larger haul trucks
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- Valid RII competencies for relevant machinery
- Strong safety mindset and ability to follow site procedures
- Ability to work both independently and within a production team
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- $55.17 p/hr + Travel Allowance + Bonus
- Immediate start on a 7/7 rotating day and night roster
