NB Industries is seeking an experienced and highly organised Field Service Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is a critical role within our Field Service Department, acting as the central point of coordination between customers, field personnel, and internal departments. Responsible for coordinating field service operations, supporting project and shutdown activities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers. You will play an important role in keeping our operations running efficiently and safely.

This role operates on a 7-on, 7-off roster and is at our Paget office, allowing you to still enjoy being home every night. Responsibilities are shared with another Field Service Coordinator, with detailed handovers completed every Wednesday to ensure continuity of service and operational excellence

What this role looks like:

  • 7 Days On / 7 Days Off | 7:00am – 5:00pm

  • Coordinate labour allocation and emergency breakdown coverage across multiple sites, ensuring personnel are matched to the appropriate skills and qualifications.

  • Coordinate labour allocation for field service activities, shutdowns, and project work, ensuring resources are effectively deployed to meet operational and customer requirements.

  • Support project mobilisation activities, including workforce planning, scheduling, site onboarding requirements, and coordination of personnel and equipment.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for urgent enquiries, operational issues, and safety incidents.

  • Maintain accurate records, databases, scheduling systems, and job management platforms.

  • Communicate regularly with field personnel, supervisors, customers, and internal departments.

  • Ensure incidents, hazards, and safety concerns are reported and managed in accordance with company procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with the alternate Field Service Coordinator to ensure smooth transitions and comprehensive handovers.

  • Work closely with Operations, Project Managers, and Supervisors to ensure labour requirements for upcoming projects are identified, planned, and fulfilled.

  • Collaborate with our team across all areas of the business to support field service operations, project coordination, and positive customer outcomes.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in a Field Service Coordinator, Service Scheduler, Operations Coordinator, Workforce Planner, Project Coordinator, or similar role.

  • Trade background preferred, with a strong understanding of field service, maintenance, mining, industrial, or heavy industry operations.

  • Relevant industry experience is essential.

  • Experience coordinating labour and resources across field service, maintenance, shutdown, and project environments.

  • Strong understanding of workforce mobilisation, project scheduling, and labour planning.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong administrative capability.

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, incident reporting, and fatigue management practices.

  • Reliable, self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused.

  • Ability to remain calm and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a close-knit team.
